You can perform a quick reset of your Secretlab MAGNUS Pro by pressing and holding the “Down” button until “RST” is displayed on the digital panel and a beep is heard.
If your standing desk remains unresponsive, please disconnect it from power and allow the Control Box to rest for at least 10 seconds, before reconnecting it to power.
Do also check that the Control Box is securely attached to the metal desk top, all cables are properly connected and there are no obstructions which may trigger the anti-collision system.
If the above steps do not resolve the issue or there is a specific error code showing in the digital panel, please refer to our troubleshooting guide. Should your issue persist, please get in touch with our support team.

No, you do not have to use the Secretlab MAGPAD™ with the Secretlab MAGNUS. However, we strongly recommend doing so to protect your standing desk’s surface. In addition, the plush leatherette delivers a more comfortable feel under the skin compared to steel.

I recently decided on Magnus Pro XL desk with motorized legs. When I was growing up, my desk in my room was actually a countertop installed between two walls -- and every desk I've had since then has felt incredibly small as a result. My other problem is the amount of cabling I have is difficult to keep organized and usually has ended up disorganized as a result. This desk solves both of those problems and a few more. The integrated cable tray is huge and with a little planning I got everything in there with plenty of room to spare -- including a network switch and my work laptop dock. The accessories in the ecosystem all feel tightly integrated as well. The magnetic ethernet cable system that sticks to the rear of the leg and lifts with the desktop looks and works great. The PC mount for the leg looks and works great. It feels like they've thought of everything. The only issue I really ran into is that I've always tried to use the shortest cables possible to help with my cable management concerns. When switching to the Magnus, I actually needed a few cables to be a bit longer. Notably, my DisplayPort cable needed to be longer to reach through the monitor mount all the way down to the mounted PC. The extra length hides in the cable tray, but I did have to run out and get a new cable as well as longer cables for a few USB accessories. Not really an issue with the desk, but something to think about when planning your setup. I'll admit that I felt a bit of sticker shock the first time I saw this desk, but it has features I wasn't seeing on any competing products. And honestly you can spend a lot on a desk and not get this much desk in terms of size and featureset. I'm glad I pulled the trigger; this feels like what I've been looking for in a desk my whole life (as I stand here and type this!).
